As we acknowledge and celebrate the resurrection of our Lord Jesus Christ, in this message we will focus on the fall of man and the reason for death of Christ.
God’s ultimate plan for mankind is for us to replenish this earth, subdue it and live in plenty, but satan came in and destroyed that plan. He stole our birthright, our union, our communion and our fellowship with God and for this reason man fell from grace and became an enemy of God.
God started the divine orchestration of the cross from the very beginning. Since death came by the first Adam, life was restored back to us through the second Adam, which is our Lord Jesus Christ. To fully restore us back to Himself, God had to firstly create a separation between satan and his children. The bible says in Gen 3:15 “And I will put enmity between you and the woman, and between your seed and her Seed;
He shall bruise your head, and you shall bruise His heel.”
It’s amazing to know that our God is a loving God; before we were born or fell into sin he had already made arrangements for our salvation. When Jesus came and died on the cross for our sake, his heel was broken, fulfilling the word in Genesis 3:15, but Jesus was also given the power to crush the head of satan for all eternity. The fact may be that we lost our connection with our heavenly Father but the truth is; we have regained that connection through Christ. God has placed satan under our feet also and given us the power to crush the serpent’s head. We are free.
